The Green Pig

The Green Pig is well known for its Monday night Blues jam, where the hottest local and visiting players come out to show their stuff. However, frequent live music, a rooftop bar and great food make this downton establishment a must see in Salt Lake City, any night of the week.

The vibe at the Pig is great—especially during trade show season when the place is always packed. The small dance floor is usually busy and everyone has a great time. The stage is just large enough to fit a band and the dance floor is usually overflowing.

You’ll find an eclectic bunch patrons at the Pig but they all have one thing in common: he love music, food and a good party. A roof-top bar offers a great view south ad a great way to cool of on summer evenings.

The Music

You’ll find a variety genres at the Pig, from outlaw country to jazz. As previously mentioned, Monday nights is the famous blues jam (read more on the Blues Jam). There’s also a Thursday evening Karaoke night and $2 Tuesdays. Check out the Green Pig facebook events page for all upcoming events.

The Green Pig has a full bar and serves a lot of products from local distilleries and breweries, as well as the usual national products. The Green Pig menu includes traditional, vegan late night and breakfast options, so the Pig is a great place to go any time if you need more than just alcohol to fuel your body.

If you are looking for a great night on the town, The Green Pig will not disappoint.
